Office Assistant

Job description:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of general and/or specialized office support activities related to filing, reception, form processing, record maintenance, mail handling, personal computer operation and typing; obtains and conveys information related to customers and services; and performs related duties as required.
Typical duties include:
screens incoming mail, visitors and calls for staff; takes messages; transfers calls; makes appointments; may receive and provide receipt for and record payment for money; processes bills, orders, note receipts, permits and licenses; review, post, adjust, and balance daily registers, journals, records and source documents
